Photographer & Cafe Manager

I have been shooting since childhood when I received some very good lessons in how I see the world around me from my amateur photographer father. And being the only male in my high school journalism class (thus needing a good excuse to leave the classroom) gave me an excellent opportunity to extend my skills early on by taking all the assignments I could and hiding out in the darkroom.
After that, my photography has developed along with my life experiences, the biggest of which has been living in China for several years and striving to capture the cultures around me. I love to tell the stories of the people around me: the story of that special day, biographical stories that capture that essence of a person, or the just exploring the world around me, which is an ever-unfolding story.
photojournalistic photography, weddings, natural portraiture, event (meetings, conferences, etc.), and street.
